Where did you get your rearview mirror?
It came from amazon although I'm not sure I'd recommend it 100%. It's a nice big mirror that gives you a decent field of view; however, it picks up a ton of vibration and shakes a lot when you are driving. I need to see if there's any way to tighten it up or stabilize it.

So yeah..... if you are reusing the brake caliper bolts for the brakes on the goblin’s rear wheels, make sure you put thread locker on them... I’ve had 2 vibrate loose and fall completely out and the other two where barely finger tight.....

I replaced all 4 with new bolts and thread locker and made **** sure they were torqued down.....

Finally caved and installed my windshield last night. I’ll admit it, y’all were right. Man it’s nice.

I haven’t gone far with it, but I definitely like it. We ran a few errands in it this morning and it keeps the wind noise down enough that we can talk without needing our helmet intercoms. I also see what others say about the heat from the radiator and engine getting pulled into the passenger area. I ordered a footwell cover so that should help with the radiator heat.

Brian74’s work on his custom dash had my brain running circles so I decided to make some “upgrades”.....

Started working on a new dash panel tonight. Marked some spots for the speakers, control switches, and a stereo .

Also planning on swapping the seats out for reclinable seats with sliders. They may or may not get a subwoofer behind a seat..............

One of these behind a seat, not so expensive it will break the bank if it gets wet, and will fill in the low end of sound field. There are many brands of these 10 inch slim subs that don't take up much space.

As part of my upgrades, we installed the footwell cover and make some floor mats. I can’t believe how much difference they make. I used some $8 door mats from Lowe’s for the floor mats. They turned out really nicely.

Found a slick shifter knob and boot on amazon the other day. They look and fit pretty well. Now to figure out how to design and build a surround for the shift linkages....

This is funny, I did the exact same thing, and used what look like the exact same mats. Though I cut mine so the textured ribs are perpendicular to the tunnel, rather than parallel!

Nice. My wife helped me and we went back and forth on which way to cut them. She preferred the parallel ribs so that's how we cut them.
