We now have 0-60 test results with Goblins built with base model donors.

The Goblins
Dennis's Goblin
Automatic city Goblin with 225/45-16 rear tires. Completely stock engine and tune. Traction control and the torque limit while braking were removed so that the car could be revved up before launching.

DFKC Prototype 2
Supercharged manual track Goblin with 255/50-16 rear tires. The car started off with a base model 2009 donor but we added the ZZP supercharger and ZZP tune.

The Testing Procedure
We used the HP Tuners scanner to log the speedometer as we accelerated. The scans recorded at 20hz. Tire size was taken into account to correct the speed readings.

Both cars were tested from a dead stop in our driveway. I then looked at the time stamp of just before the speed changed from 0 and compared it to the time stamp of when the car reached 60. With the recording resolution at 20hz, the results should only be off by +-.05 seconds.

Results
Dennis's automatic Goblin 0-60: 4.75 seconds
The car accelerated without any tire spin. We've raced a base model automatic vs manual and they are dead even up to 60 so this number is accurate for both transmissions.

P2 with supercharger 0-60: 3.9 seconds
The car had some tire spin off the line thanks to being used to launching the naturally aspirated cars. It would have helped if we could have got some heat in the tires before the tests but we did not. With shorter, stickier tires and some practice we could definitely get a better time.

Conclusion
The Goblin is very quick no matter the setup. The bone stock Goblin rivals the 0-60 times of much more expensive cars. Throw on the supercharger kit and you will be one of the quickest cars on the road.
