Frame Powder Coating

DF guys have someone they use nearby their shop. I believe the price is somewhere around 750 for a solid color and 1000 for a illusion or similar type color. But, the DF guys will not freight ship any frames that have been coated because there is a fair chance they'll scratch.

I got mine done locally for a similar price.

The coat shop that DF used closed back in January. I think mine was one of the last frames to go through there.

Oh ok. I paid $900 for an illusion color. I only had DF do it down there because I wanted them to pull the radiator hoses afterwards.

You can have a local shop do it for you . That's what I did. $500 for the solid color with a clear coat.

I’ve said it a bunch of times and I’ll say it again. Not having my frame powdercoated is one of my only regrets in the whole build.

hello all, I know the powder coating is stronger but I am thinking of painting my frame with this and going for the TRON look what do you think?

I looked into that a few years ago, things may have changed but back then it would have cost more than the whole car.

There’s a guy that does it just a couple miles away from me. Sure does look cool but I would only use it for accents and not the whole thing.

We are big into Mud riding and I have seen a few RZR's that had just the frame done in this and it looked amazing. Guess I will have to see what the cost would be. Could you imagine it cruising at night though with light up Green!! might try buying the paint and dusting off my old paint guns. man it has been years since I painted something.
