So I pulled the trigger and put a deposit down on an extended track frame. I'm planning to start the donor teardown work this weekend.

I plan to although it won't be as interesting as some of the others because I'm doing anything crazy or custom.

If you are going to "go by the book" for building, it would be beneficial to let the rest of us know how long it takes you to do your build. Early I kept pretty good track but then I did quite a bit of extra stuff and my time was not reflective of how quickly a car can be built. Justin (JSAX) built his super fast - maybe two weekends ;););).

I'm going to try to take extremely detailed build notes. I'm planning to build a kit airplane in a couple years so this is a test run. Airplanes require details build logs to document proper construction and demonstrate compliance with the 51% rule.
