Does it have a reverse lockout?
I have a 2005 SS, lockout is like the 80's and earlier vette's.
Underneath the shift knob, on the shaft, pull up with your index and middle finger. Then shift into reverse.

I think reverse may be further over to the right than 5th. So you may need to adjust your left cable. I think it will need to be shortened.

Without the lockout you may have trouble finding 5th once you get reverse working.

I think your shifter's left to right position should be very close to vertical when in neutral.

I think that I need to look at it more tonight, I ordered a short throw with 1" lower top part also since I find my hand hitting the gauge cluster haha.

Thanks,

What offset is the rear wheels? I was wondering before ordering wheels myself.
Looks like you have some decent clearance between the tire and strut.

Your Goblin is looking good!

Thanks Alex!

A quick question, I think these are the right parts to replace the steering wheel. After getting in and out a few times I think the bit of extra room from a flat bottom will be helpful.

Also I'm having a time with the dash buttons. Anyone recall which color wires go to what? I really just need to get the horn and hazard buttons going for inspection.

Thanks!

That's pretty much the setup I was planning. Except maybe doing the Leather instead of the suede. I know that's the right hub for the Cobalt so I imagine it should work for the Goblin.

Ah I spent a lot of time trying to figure this out.

So that hub is used to adapt the shaft to either one of their quick releases OR a 6 bolt steering wheel.

And I wouldn't get it. The DF kit comes with a three bolt adapter already that is much smaller and cleaner. Simply get a three bolt to 6 bolt conversion plate off eBay. It's much cheaper.

Or we can all ask really nicely and hope DF just machines the adapter with 6 bolt as an option.
