I am looking for a radio to install on the car. Anyone have suggestions on a halfway decent unit? How was install? Trying to spend less than 100, if possible.

Thanks!

Do you want AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth or just Bluetooth? If just Bluetooth, I would suggest motorcycle speakers from BOSS. I think DF sells a set and you can find them on Amazon. If you want more bass for more money, Lethalcast just installed these ATV speakers with a sub. You can find more info in his thread located here: http://dfkitcar.com/forum/index.php?threads/lethalcasts-city-goblin-2009-ss-tc-g85.583/page-10#post-15710

Thanks for the response. I will check into BOSS. Looking for FM with bluetooth. I am thinking about this-

Just worried its too cheap.

In most cases you will get what you pay for. From the looks of those speakers you won't get much bass, but they may be great for a season or to test out. If they don't work out or break after a year, you're only out $50 bucks.... so on the next set you can add some more funds if desired.

I just take my UE Boom and set it on the tunnel cap between the seats. It works well for me, but most of the time I listen to the music the goblin makes...

Im a little late, but I just joined. I've used the Bluetooth Wetsounds sound bar in a few different applications and it works great.

Another thought, as I have seen many portable units built with this it has fm, Bluetooth, sd, USB, and aux in. Granted you'll have to figure out how to macgyver parts of it. But it's a start for a fairly slim radio. https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/JK6836BT-usb-sd-card-mp3-fm_60616321839.html Edit: Doh missed the minimum order quantity. Lol don't know if you'd want a 1000 of them. Lol unless you are opening a goblin radio shop. But I'm sure there has to be some place. That you only have to order one.

If you truly want good sound and other features to boot, this helmet has built in audio and bluetooth, not to forget intelligent noise cancelling.

We are going to get a set of the Momentum Lites.

+1 for helmet speakers/communicators. We used cardo scala riders for bike to bike/group talking and I used it a ton for calls, music, etc. I'll be reinstalling mine in the helmet I use for the goblin.
