We'll get the donor for you and assemble the kit to whatever point you want.
What percent of your kit do you want us to build? When you place your order on our Order Page, just select the build percentage you want us to build your kit to.
|0%||Just the Kit||We supply the kit. You find a donor.|
|25%||Donor Stripped||We buy a donor, strip it and supply the parts with your kit.|
|50%||Engine Running||We install the engine and get it running.|
|75%||Almost a Roller||We finish the suspension, steering and brakes.|
This is the most common way kit cars are sold. You get the welded out chassis and all of the other kit parts from us and it is up to you to find, buy and strip a donor. Once you strip the donor, you use the important donor parts to build your kit from the ground up.
Important Note: The 0% kit does not come with a donor car. You must buy a donor on your own. Check out our Choosing a Donor Guide to get help with buying the right Cobalt for your Goblin.
Stripping the Cobalt isn't hard, but some builders don't have room for it or just want to skip the donor stripping process altogether. If you are tight on space or don't want to deal with the donor, let us do it for you.
We'll buy the a donor to fit the Goblin you want to build. Then we'll strip it all the way down to get the parts you'll need. After replacing any broken parts, we'll pack the donor equipment and send it with your kit.
Getting the engine installed and running does require a bit of donor prep work and some heavy lifting. We can get all that out of the way for you.
We'll buy and strip the donor just like the 25% kit. Then we'll do all of the prep work like reworking the wiring harness and powder coating the frame and sheet metal. The kit will be assembled up to the point that the engine is installed and running.
Skip the donor stripping, engine installation and suspension build up by going with the 75% kit. The 75% kit is just tires and wheels from being a roller and requires minimal work to finish.
Just like the 50% kit, we'll strip the donor and get your engine installed and running. Then we'll get the suspension and steering finished up. The brakes will be installed and bled. To get driving, all you'll have to do is install tires, wheels and seats.
