I will give that a shot.
I will give that a shot.
It looks like I broke the tab, if I need to keep it I will need to weld that little tab or make a new one.Do I keep this filler neck?
Oh, yes. I see it on the AC lines so I assume I can clip both the AC plug and the pressure switch plug and just dead end those wires?I think the round 3 prong is for an ac pressure switch?
I really appreciate your help. I’m learning a lot.Yep.
While I got rid of mine and just put a filter on it, I consider putting the hose back on. With just a filter, the crankcase pressure that builds up has to blow through the filter, if it should ever get clogged, you can build up excessive pressure in the crank and blow other things. I've noticed our valve cover gasket weeping a bit and I can't help to wonder if it's because of "pressure" in the valve cover and not having the intake "suck" out the built up pressure. During WOT and high boost, this really comes into play.On my go carts and motorcycles I always eliminate this rebreather line, Cap the one on the intake and put a small simple filter near the valve cover. Did you keep this line or get rid of it?
Curious, how much oil do you collect over time?Due to the pressure it blows alot of oil into the intake so I routed mine through a catch can.
Have you been running this motor for a while with the AC compressor this way? I’m a little concerned it has lost strength by only having two bolts hold it.I did a video of gutting the AC compressor. Saved 5 pounds.
