tool list

I searched for a tool list and have not found one, yet. I know that the majority of the tools needed are normal, standard sizes. But, there are some outliers that I have come across already like - 35mm socket for my axle nut, fuel line connector release tool, T50 Torx socket, etc. I know some of the donor models may have slightly different requirements, but I would think there would be very few differences. Fortunately, I have been watching the videos ahead of actually doing them, so I was able to procure the odd size tools needed. Not sure if the majority of builders already have a roll around tool chest with every size tool imaginable. Unfortunately, I do not. :(

I would think it would be worthwhile if there were a list of tools (that are not simple wrench or socket sizes) that a builder could reference ahead of time. Heck, maybe even list the build video where the specific tool would be needed.
The ones needed for the Goblin assembly should be pretty easy.

Any thoughts?

15/16 and 1-1/8 wrenches for the front suspension assembly. Those aren't typically included in the mechanic's sets sold at the box stores.

Air tools are your friend and having an impact gun and air ratchet makes life sooooo much easier, especially for a donor teardown. There are several bolts that can be difficult to remove without them - they spin nuts and bolts much faster than you can - like many of the suspension connections (struts, steering joints, ball joints, etc.).

I wonder where you got this idea from.

one of the biggest ones is a seat belt T50. There’s actually a special T50 for seat belts from Snap-On. its the T50OE. You’ll notice the the ends are not points, they are blunt cuts. This grabs the seat belt bolt much better and won’t strip them.

or electric equivalent ;)I have switched to Milwaukee M18 and M12 impacts, ratchets and such. I haven’t touched my air tools in a long time and don’t miss dragging an air line around.

I know that air tools have been the industry norm. With battery technology progressing, there are some good alternatives. I bought this wrench about a year ago. It is by far my go-to tool. I highly recommend it.

list item - good wobble socket extension

Another special tool. The rear brake calipers with a parking brake are a pain in the ass to bleed when you use a tube to catch the fluid, so I cut a cheapo 10mm wrench to get into those tight places.
dang! you just keep cutting up tools over there!!!...... :)
