I was able to buy a brand new piston earlier this year. It may have been the last one left though. Engine crate depot was able to source it for me at a dealer somewhere

That’s awesome! Debating on turbo for future power or the TVS but the TVS seems harder to get your hands on. I’m thinking the plus side to the turbo is the option to run the external intercooler that is probably more efficient than the LSJ intake manifold
Light stream only asks if it’s new or used and from a dealer or private sale. It’s an un secured loan so they do not hold the title to the car and they’ve never asked what you bought afterwards.
@Gtstorey even with no boost runs before I was still seeing almost a 30 degree difference. I’ve been unable to do some hard pulls with it as I had a small oil leak last night. Pretty sure my dip stick tube is broken

Update : it took about 10-15 minutes of the car being on and 5 of those freeway driving for the IAT2 temps to go above IAT1 . After that they stayed about 7-12 degrees above my IAT1 temps. Very happy with the results of this cooling overhaul project
You could always go meth injection to cool it down. I think the meth would be beneficial on track and wouldn’t need to be used on the streets for just some pulls here and there
@devianteng yea they pull air down to the motor. And regarding the TVS the only way I think it would maybe lower IAT is that it’s more efficient and not needing such a small pulley to hit a desired HP lvl
Fans mounted up tonight and also used JB weld to epoxy a filter setup in front of the outlet of the ice box going to the pump so half melted ice cubes don’t fit through the hose and jamb up the pump. I also tested the fans out. Wired them in parallel and series to see the difference. Series...
