    Justin Reed Racing DF Goblin

I know right...Go-Pro footage really does not capture what I imagine was highly intense moment on the dragon. Its been about 10 years since I drove the dragon and 80mph is unimaginable. Am I reading @Justinreed7 build spec correctly and the boost control is wastegate spring only without a...

    Switching a SS/SC specked goblin to SS/TC

It’s funny you mention this. I was just thinking about this option driving down the road plus Saab is fairly easy to find much lower cost than cobalt in a lot of cases.

You are correct but wouldn't the flow change on the hot side of the turbo? I am just used to seeing the MAF on the hot side in most builds. I may be mistaken wouldn't be the first time ;)

Are you having any issues with the MAF being on the cold side of the turbo? How is it supposed to read boost pressure at this location?

    SS/SC Goblin #316 for sale, NC Title/Registration - $21,500

Just picked up a spare engine tonight from seller and this is a mint goblin one of the cleanest I have seen in person. Wiring is very well done, paint is perfect and I took a lot of pictures with some ideas. I really liked the tinted plexiglass roof and motivates me to upgrade to a full cage...

    LSJ-T Feedback on Build

Hey all, I have started the configuration for the Cortex Electronic Boost Controller and initially while tuning with ZZP I have set the duty cycle at 20% to bring boost from 10psi (sprint rate) to 15psi logged in HP Tuners. With this controller I can build boost by RPM, Gear, Speed. My...

Tuning from ZZP on "tube chassis"

I agree but I believe the concern is they have had to troubleshoot other issues on the Goblins to get an initial idle tune because some customers have had vacuum and wiring issues prior to the tune. This may be less of a problem with a pre-running cobalt. I am not saying maybe they just do not...

Tuning from ZZP on "tube chassis"

I am on the fence regarding this new charge because honestly its been a lot of work for ZZP to dial in many of my tunes especially since I went with Fuel Factory Injectors. I believe my e85 tune supercharged took 20+ renditions to dial in using HP Tuners and I am currently on rendition 15+ on my...

    LSJ-T Feedback on Build

I figured out the issue. After capping all intake inlets and idling the engine same issue results. I then removed the intake and noticed oil in the bottom. After identifying the LSJ has an internal PCV valve inside the intake I realized my mistake. I swapped over the PCV valve from the...

    Heat exchanger fan wiring

With all the small custom circuits adding up I am at the point where I may just build a dash panel to keep the always on/ignition on circuits. Is this something you went with...

    LSJ-T Feedback on Build

I am starting the tuning process with ZZP and brought the Goblin for a short ride this morning around the neighborhood. I noticed a new noise from the rear its kind of hard to hear in the video but noticable in person like a whine not sure if this is normal. I re-tightened all couplings, a few...

    Heat exchanger fan wiring

This may be the easiest solution. Based on the guide below which circuits would you suggest tieing into at the rear? Example as shown above would the Fuel Pump wiring be required?

    Heat exchanger fan wiring

Reviving this thread. I too am not an expert with electrical but I noticed there are (2) 30Amp Relays in the PCM that are for cooling fan 1 and 2. I imagine 1 is for the front mounted radiator fan would it be possible to use Cooling fan 2 for the heat exchanger fan mounted in the rear without...
