I originally went over and in front of the fuel tank with my coolant lines - and that's with a phenolic spacer pushing it out further. Maybe the dual pass helps that, not sure, can't remember what the stock end plate looks like. Assuming you can do that, turbo is possible with ZZP's LSJ-T...

That's my theory. Greater amperage, larger body. I suggest stopping by autoparts and comparing alternator sizes. If it doesn't fit, just return it

Which way it spins doesn't matter BTW. At least for the 2.2/2.4/2.0TC. The LSJ one can only be spun one way

Mines kit #110. Your's is a very early model. Maybe it's different sized tank? I'm not sure tbh. If you get some measurements of tank and tank position I can try and compare it.

Your alternator looks different than mine off memory. Maybe that's why. Maybe not though. Hard to tell from my pics

    Josh's City Goblin - 10 XFE Donor

Yeah, 295. With the extra cooling capacity I think it would make more now. Heat soaking on a dyno isn't exactly good for HP numbers lol.

    Josh's City Goblin - 10 XFE Donor

Go look at the Dyno thread on cobaltss.net. That'll give you ideas. Its pretty hard to make 300 with an M62 and a 2.0.

    Traé’s Goblin (06’ SS/SC #501)

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07B8WFRRQ?psc=1 Thats what I used. Fits thru windshield bolt hole. Don't think I had to drill bigger, but it's been years.

Making HP. LNF, LSJ, LE5, LAP vs L61

Yeah, @Gtstorey is right. Look at the dyno thread on CSS. Highest HP 2.2 N/A is only 180HP, and he needed intake, intake manifold, throttle body, ported head, injectors, cams, header, downpipe, cat delete, full exhaust, an underdrive pulley, and a tune. Not worth it IMO. Boost it.

Custom / Aftermarket ECU for LSJ

Was looking up some info on the reluctor because I thought the LSJ was something other than 58x (it is 58x after all) and stumbled across this: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/want-run-e67-computer-your-lsj-powered-car-its-easy-304426/

I tried calling a few times a while ago. Let me know if you get thru! You and I will have the same exact part since we're both the original short chassis

Well if you do get ahold of DF, tell them to make two haha. I haven't had time, but I was going to attempt to make my own/get one made. I'm picking up a welder later this week though so maybe I'll get to this sooner rather than later.

    Josh's City Goblin - 10 XFE Donor

I made this all of 4" PVC. I used a vent cap and ground down the edge so it could fit inside the pipe. It prevented ice chunks from getting fed into the pump. Left is V2, right is the (leaky) V1. V2 is better, but the tank feed should have been higher up. The pump feed is in the bottom, and...
