    Master cylinder remote lines

In the pic, there is actually 2 different sizes. Both 1/4” and 3/8”. I used 1/4” for the brake lines and 3/8” for the clutch.

    Master cylinder remote lines

The pic shows 1/4” as 6.4mm. I can’t remember how tight it was, but I used clamps. It has been almost 5 years now with no leaks with the clamps. I know on the clutch line - I had to use the 3/8”. The 1/4 wouldn’t fit.

    Squeaky heim joints

Tenacious oil - stuff is unbelievable. It’s is a bike oil. 1 bottle will last a lifetime. I put 1-2 drops on my heims 2 years ago and they have been silent since. This stuff is a medium viscosity stinky oil...

    Denied registration in Indiana

I have my Goblin registered in Indiana. It is possible. My only hiccup was all the receipts and documentation of the expense of the build. It took two times to get approval.

    LNF Turbo Heat Shield

I asked about this when I was at ZZP on the dyno. I was told to remove all the shielding back there. Wouldn’t hurt a thing. Been that way for years now. Went on a 5 hour drive Friday. Heat soaked my IATS were 13 - 18 different. I would say it’s ok to remove the heat shielding.

    Goblin rear wing aero

So I decided to see if my 9 Lives racing wing was truly working. I set a small experiment to check the airflow to the rear wing. I used a flexible drill bit used for fishing wiring as my measurement tool to see what height was needed to get airflow to the wing. Let me tell you about my car...

    LNF Evap Solenoid

Leave it plugged in or you will throw a code. On startup and shut down you will hear it go through a cycle. As for the port, cap it and also use a hose clamp to keep it in place. Once under boost, the vacuum cap will try to escape if not clamped down - ask me how I know.

See link below: https://dfkitcar.com/forum/index.php?threads/justin-reed-racing-df-goblin.45/post-63152 Continue reading on to page 5 for more info. Justin Reed puts in his input. I think he has the most high speed track time on the forum. Watch the video mid page 5 for real world experience.

    Front ARB Options

FYI - front roll bars are not typically needed with with rear engined cars like front engined. Any sway bar, if needed will be used in the rear of the Goblin. Most will just use the small diameter base Cobalt sway bar in the rear. Competition cars (like Justin Reed) are using the larger SS...

    History of DF

Why so many masochistic car builders here???

The build for me so enjoyable I wish I had the $ to do more of them. Once you are “done” with the build, there will be endless mods that you can do to make it your own. The performance of the Goblin - in any trim will annihilate 99% of the sports cars on the road. You will get so much...
