My ALDL OBD2 plug needs to be replaced. I checked online and found some that were pinned wrong for LS engines. Does anyone have supplier information for one for a 05 cobalt SS LSJ.?
I need the plug that mounts under the dash. The one you plug a scanner in.Which side do you need the engine or sensor side?
Nuker-
I really dont want to mess with pins if I can help it. Dosent anyone sell a pig tail version for our cars?Mouser. Cheap. You’ll need new GT150 pins and the proper crimp tool if you need to replace the pins as well.

Wrong side. That looks to me like it plugs into the connector I need. Also no mounting holes.
The car side is female (holes). The device side is male and has exposed pins.Wrong side. That looks to me like it plugs into the connector I need. Also no mounting holes.
Looks like it will work! What a hassle to find one with all 16 pins loaded! THANKS FOR YOUR HELP! its ordered. The car side is female (holes). The device side is male and has exposed pins.
You could get something like this and cut off the mounted female connector and toss the rest.

It worked! This thing would work on ANY CAR, because it has wires for all 16 pins! My tach, which drives off of the diagnostic connector, using a Dakota Digital tach adapter, now works again! The car side is female (holes). The device side is male and has exposed pins.
