Can rear brakes be installed on the wrong side?

I really hate posting this question because I hate feeling stupid but Is it possible to install the rear brakes on the wrong side, the bleeders are currently on the bottom?

Yes. The bleeders need to be at the top

Thanks for the confirmation. Did not take too long to swap them to the other sides and resolved issue I was having bleeding them, they work great now.
