Went with the Goodyear Eagle F1 supercar 3. They are a 220 tread wear. I put them on my wife’s ATS-V. Changed the car. I’ll let you know how I like them

Big difference between a 3800lb car and a 1600lb car using the same brand of tire and TW rating. The heavier car will more readily heat the tire up and take advantage of the handling characteristics in mostly normal driving. A lighter car takes a lot more effort to heat a 200TW up to get the same benefit. Sizing becomes more important in this case - which is what @Lonny has discussed a few times about not going too wide for the Goblin.

Right but I’m going from a 340tw to 220tw. I felt fairly confident with the old tires so I hope this make a big difference

Well going for a 275/40R18 rear and 255/40R18 front to a square set up of 245/40R17 and running 100 tread wear tires makes it feel like a different car. Did my first Autocross event on them. I’ve never felt like I could drift the car and control it before. This weekend most drifts I would have spun out on were easily caught.
