I got a couple quotes. One that could get it done for 1k with a week turnaround time. Another 3-4 week turnaround time for 700. Both with cardinal gr02.
Good color choice; I know someone with the same color for their chassis lol

Frame just got back from powder coaters and it looks great. Now I need to take a look at the build videos and see what I can do with the frame while I wait for the wiring harness to get back.
In reality, you can start doing a lot without the harness. Just about everything, except putting in the rear firewall. You just need enough room for the harness plugs to squeeze through.

I see you have your frame up rags over the jack stands. I found that about a 2 inch pieces of the radiator hose made great buffers between the frame and jack stands. You cut them on one side to make it wrap the whole frame rail and they do not move. You'll have more than 8 inches left over or can get 1 foot at a part store.

Update on build progress. Got the floor panels riveted in and radiator hoses ran through the tubing. The urethane adhesive they recommend for the floor panels is messy stuff to work with. Will need to go over some places with a plastic scraper to clean excess off.

One rad hose went through no problem but the second one ended up breaking off inside the tube while pulling it through right near the end. Luckily I was able to pull out the broken hose by hand after the silicone lube dried out. Had to buy some more hose to finish the job. Then when pulling that through with the winch it ended up breaking off but luckily I had more than enough hose to work with by the time it broke. Getting started on installing the steering column pedals and brake hard lines tonight.

Made some good progress this weekend. Got the pedal box in, clutch and brake lines. Also installed the radiator. Unfortunately one of the bolt holes for the bottom of the radiator support bracket got cross threaded so I will need to try chasing those threads. If all else fails though it looks like I can drill through both sides and just put a bolt with a nut on it to keep it in place.

I did the same thing. I drilled out the rivnut and installed a new one.

I broke a couple of hoses in mine. They actually pull out pretty easily, I was able to get them back out by hand.

Warming up the hoses before pulling helped me finally get to them through the frame. I was very, very liberal with the silicone spray. Both in the frame hole and all over the hoses.

Been a while since I've updated my progress. Got the harness back from DF a couple weeks ago but had to change spark plugs in my 911 so haven't been able to work on the goblin until this last week. Got the engine in and was able to get it started and idling yesterday. I haven't hooked up the radiator so I only ran it for a short time. It's very satisfying to hear the motor run again.

Also got the wheels and tires I plan on running. Going with advanti storms. 4x100 15x7 in front and 5x114.3 17x8 in rear. Nankang ar1 205/50/15 and 225/45/17. Running stock ss hubs in rear with 5x114.3 adaptors and oem 4x100 non abs hubs up front.

Ordered the rest of stage 2 and stage 3 parts so I'll be stuck with nothing to do once the radiator is hooked up to the engine. I should have cleaned the engine off before putting it in the frame but oh well I guess I'll have to wait until I can drive it around the property before doing that.

Heres a video of one of the first starts. Bonus pic of the 911 with some fresh tires.

I hate using the factory fuel line from the pump to the fuel rail. Didn’t even think to put a rubber fuel line there is a few clamps.

I'm going to make it a bit nicer by adding an inline fuel filter (since LNF fuel systems don't have a fuel filter from factory) and some proper quick release fuel line connectors but this works fine for the first few starts.

Got the coolant hoses connected last night and the system has been fully filled with dexcool and all the air seems to be bled out. Coolant fan comes on when its supposed to as well and I can feel both sides of the hoses get warm so I think I'm done with the coolant system.

Hey I was looking at your engine pick and noticed something. Are you running two of the same VVT sensors? Both of yours have black plug and mine have one black and one grey.

This week I received the rest of the stage 2 and 3 parts. Got the rear coils in. Today I'll see if I can figure out the front suspension and get the rear toe link in. One question I have is do I need to clock the turbo at a different angle? The turbo is sitting in a spot where I can't really fit the silicone hose on. It gets compressed under the frame bar.PXL_20230429_223638646.jpg
