Financing options

What sort of financing options are available for kit cars? Has anyone had good/bad experiences?

No bank would lend money for a kit car purchase. Don't finance, this is a toy and nothing more. That being said, if you must do it, your best bet is borrowing against home equity or an unsecured loan.

i took out a personal loan with my bank. They said they might have been able to work it as an auto loan but it would only get me maybe an extra percentage point. It would have been some time to get it approved because it would have to be assessed though the under writer however they said if i did a personal loan they could get it approved no problem. I have a credit union though verse a bank.
