Cantilever. Is there some kit to place the shock towers you cut away or are you just going to fab something? In my book it appears there is much suspension science and pitfalls based on shock placement. Not sayin’ it’s impossible but that’s a can of worms I try to avoid.
I guess I’ll see when I see. Just a personal point of curiosity. Plus I pushed your post up the page.Cantilever.

I broke out the sawzall, and cut the cradle out so i could mount the bigger axle. It looks like this axle has more room on the engine side... I'll find out tomorrow...Nothing a cutting torch, Sawzall, grinder and a welder can't fix!Seems like you've got a lot of time invested in this project to quit now.

Ouch!, true but ouch.Time for a LS.
Ouch!, true but ouch.
Your killing me man.. LOLI hate it for ya! {I don't think mentioning the LS everything actually helps your goals. I happen to really like LS-ing stuff and I imagine you're a little beat down just now
. No foul, life's like that.} Well, anyhow, time to regroup, adjust and overcome. I think we know each other well enough to say, cry some tears, drink some beers(or other suitable consolation sauce/snack) and like old James Taylor sang, "And when the morning light comes streamin' in, I'll get up and do it again"! Maybe you shoulda gone with an Aussie Ford Barra/turbo motor!?(Barra's are supposed to be Awesome Mate!?) I think the nearest market for that motor was Mexico, it didn't come here.
OH?? I can't wait!Your killing me man.. LOL
I havent given up just yet, I have been working on the wiring for the shop so I can get the electrical inspection done. Once that is done I will get back at the swap. If it doesn't work out it no problem, I have a back up plan for the drivetrain an aero nose F150.
