Disregard my ignorance but that looks significantly lower to the ground than i am setting up.... i assume thats on purpose?
it looks a lot lower than it actually is in the pics, but i have raised it up an inch since then

Little late to post but took it to Road Atlanta in November and boy was it wet! Car handled fantastic in the rain surprisingly and was somewhat forgiving to drive at its limits in the wet. Little oversteer but that’s your friend, better than understeer lol it dried up around mid day for the 3rd session and the car started hooking. This thing was on rails. I never got a clean lap due to traffic unfortunately. Around the 4th lap on session 3, the engine started knocking off the long turn 1 and finally said it had enough and shut itself down upon letting off the throttle. Oil starvation is the enemy with these engines and I completely over looked it. Also didn’t have a oil pressure gauge anywhere in the car other than the dummy light in the cluster you can’t even see. Needless to say I ordered a trap door oil pan and accusump for next season!

Are those canards on both sides of the hood down low? Hard to see on my phone.

Well underway with upgrades for this race season. New gauges, steering wheel, trap door oil pan, accusump, s257 turbo, fresh engine with a race ported head, stage 3 cams, lsd transmission, and some 275 and 295 race slicks!

So I decided to rob the engine out of my Saturn that is currently having wiring issues. The Saturn setup as it sat was a race head with stage 3 cams, 82lb valve springs, 6466 turbo, balance shaft deletes, headstuds, and arp everything with a freshened up bottom end and a f40 transmission. I took the engine out and left the f40 in the Saturn. Didn’t feel the need to do a f40 swap with the goblin. Stripped the manifolds, f40 clutch and flywheel off and began transferring the goblin engine accessories over. F35 race clutch and aluminum flywheel, s257 turbo and mated it together with a lsd f35 I picked up from a guy on the Facebook forums. Making progress

Justin,
So you know, there are several of us that are contemplating or in the process of installing the F40 transmission into our builds. Link

Yeah i was looking at that, only problem is the f40 is a open diff transmission. only way to make it lsd is to buy a lsd diff and swap one out. besides these cars dont weigh enough to hurt the f35.

I'll give more input on this matter later on in the track season when i really begin to test the f35s durablity

I just purchased a Quaife LSD today for less than $950 new from WG Motorparts in the UK. I was communicating with Tom and he worked a deal with me thru eBay. BTW, I put together a new F40 ($750) and clutch/flywheel kit new ($220) and Quaife new ($940) for less then $2K - all delivered. F35 trans new are impossible to find and a performance rebuilt F35 is more than what I paid for my F40. I believe that no amount of abuse or streetable engine HP you could throw at the F40 installed in the Goblin will ever hurt it. If you have the budget, the new F40 is the way to go in my opinion.

But the f35 won’t get hurt in the goblin in the first place, doing a 2k f40 swap is just wasting money
