Progress! Floor panels fitted, seat installed tonight, and LSJ back from machine shop..pedal box and steering going in next...starting engine assembly this weekend. On schedule for September finish.
That seat looks nice and low. What class do you plan on running in ? I don't know the scoop on whether the Goblin will be E-Mod legal or not but seems like that is where it should fall.
A lot of goodies on the table means that I still have a lot of work left to do! ...Fun Stuff!Ken, you have so many goodies on the table in your garage, it looks a Goblin candy store!
The seat fit really well! It will be in one of the Mod classes I’m sure, but haven’t figured that out yetThat seat looks nice and low. What class do you plan on running in ? I don't know the scoop on whether the Goblin will be E-Mod legal or not but seems like that is where it should fall.
They aren’t adjusted out yet...yeah, it’s out of wack right now, but overall in the right place mount wiseKen, is the gap between the brake and accel pedal good for heel and toe? Looks like the gas is too far forward? I guess what ever is comfortable for you - just an observation. It's all good!
I am actually changing things as I go....such a fun project! Can’t wait to be racing this next year in Autocross...stoked beyond belief!Cool setup! Some neat builds going on.
There are two different size wheels (one set for dry tires and one for wet). The 15x8 have a 4.5 BS and the 15x10 have 5.5 BS. Lock to lock, they clear the arms by 1/2” or so.Nice wide looking wheels. What’s the backspacing on them ? Do they touch the control arms lock to lock ? Still trying to get a number on front and rears for backspacing there’s a lot of wheels that seem to work that aren’t very wide and a lot of wide wheels that seem to work with spacers.
4.5 BC and I had DF drill them when I bought the kit (I think it was $25 per to drill them)Those have a 4.5" or 5" bolt circle... did you have your wheel hubs and rotors redrilled, and then added the ARP wheel studs?
How much did that cost?
I considered those wheels too. Nice looking!
DF did a nice job integrating it...will keep the pics and info going as I buildFantastic! Looks like the fit for the F40 is spot on. Can't wait to see how your build turns out!
I'm itching to see how the fitment is with the axles. Just got my F40 kit in yesterday, but still a long ways behind where you're at!DF did a nice job integrating it...will keep the pics and info going as I build
