I have those in 245/18's and they hook just fine with 23psi.
Cool! Adam said they used them on one of their test cars and they were great! Mine will be street only, at least for now! If I can figure out how to get my big feet in the pedal box without touching other pedals easily, I might switch to a manual down the road? That way I'll have an LSD :p

Not all manuals have LSD. The ones that do are getting harder to find and much pricier than they used to be.

The conversion from automatic to manual isn't a walk in the park, either. I'm beginning to think you should have spec'd and built your own Goblin, lol.

So much for the comment on how everyone's been nice and helpful....

That'll be when I leave this forum... I'm beginning to regret coming to it already.... :(
Don’t read into anything too much. Tone of voice / sarcasm does not transfer over text.

Almost everyone on this forum has been through the process of building one of these with choices made at the beginning to align with their end goal.

Some are just sharing their opinion, and that’s all that it is.

For you, It seems budget is not an immediate issue and you enjoy the process of tinkering on things. I don’t know how much you got your goblin for but there are SS/SCs for sale for probably less than what you’re going to spend modifying yours. But then again, you may have purchased this thing knowing you want to do all this and there is nothing wrong with that.

Now that you have a registered account you’re stuck here :p
Keep posting updates on your build. There are plenty of people, myself included, that love seeing the process.

Eh, I wasn't being sarcastic. Seemed like a logical comment to me, cheaper to build from scratch how you want it, especially considering he already built a Coyote foxbody. But whatever, I'll be more careful.

Not saying you did anything wrong, I agree with your statement. Just telling him to not take it to heart and leave o_O there’s lots of smart taters in here. I’d be lost without the forum haha.

You weren't wrong either. Auto to manual hasn't been done on a Goblin (afaik) and from what I read about it on CobaltSS.net, I basically think you would need another donor of the same year(ish) with a manual to make it remotely feasible.

The enthusiasm from a new builder is great to see though. Logically, my build makes no sense financially, but it was a hell of a lot of fun. I went 2.2, to 2.2 M62 SC, to 2.2 forged internals + TVS SC + E85. And now I'm going city to track chassis with a weld on cage. Makes zero financial sense, but I enjoyed every second. If that's what he's going for, more power to him. If not, yeah get a different Goblin.

I just dislike the way the world's becoming, or rather has became.... 25 years ago, when the internet/forums were still new, people just weren't so sarcastic/rude, they actually were nice. I know nothing is going to change either, I'm just getting old I guess.... :/

I hate trying to figure out if someone is pissed or sarcastic online.

I didn't even know you could get a Goblin with an auto, until I found this one! That's the one of the reasons I bought it, because I fit good and could actually drive it comfortably. And the other was it was already titled, but that really didn't seem to matter for my county... I think I got a decent deal on it? But you're correct, I probably could've built my own, the way I wanted it for about the same price in the end. If I'd known getting it tag/titled was going to be such a PITA, I would've just ordered an extended track frame, with easy entry, but I'm making this one the way I want it, so I'll be happy until someone offers me a stupid amount of money for it and I'll sell it, LOL! If someone would give me $50k for my Mustang, I'd probably sell it, even though I'd probably regret it down the road?

TBH, I wasn't planning on doing much to it, at first, after I got the title/tag in my name. Until I came on here, I didn't know I could do all this stuff to it. Only reason I don't really have a budget is my dad passing almost a year ago and left my brother and I with a substantial amount of inheritance. That's how we were able to buy 2 new Bronco's and do the stuff to them, as well as buying my Mustang and the stuff I've done to it. My house was paid off when my mom passed 5 years ago, so we really didn't have anything we needed the inheritance for. I remodeled our house completely over the last 6 years, so everything's new in here. And we don't have kids to worry about, other than our dogs ;)

So, budget isn't super tight, but I don't wanna blow through the remaining inheritance either, since I retire from the state in 5 years.

And I'm not an idiot, @Ark :D I know you cannot just take the auto out and slap in a manual and everything work fine and dandy... I was thinking if I did do it down the road, I'd get a new/rebuilt engine, trans, harness, etc and go from there, but I don't think I'll be able to do any of this in a standard length frame honestly.

Ehhh... I answered a minute ago about my "budget" and the reason I hate forums... Just not feeling well today and sometimes things tick me off...

I try not to take stuff to seriously, but sometimes it happens, that's when I just go silent for a while...

TBH, these Goblins are really not a financially good thing, LOL! I just wanted something different and unique! Seems like everyone is doing a Fox/Coyote swap nowadays, but there's only 4 Goblins in Alabama ;)

This is nothing like the other forums. You may get a snarky response here and there, but even those giving it are still willing to help.
Not a big deal, I will just "attenuate my responses accordingly". Or, since I'm sarcastic and rude, not respond any more.

I know of one guy who will give short answers occasionally, but will go out of his way to help you diagnose a problem post, after post, after post, after post.

If you're going to leave over what Ark or I said, you need add some oatmeal to it and thicken it up because, you're on the internet. This is a PG rated forum, so you wont get hated on or trash talked because there is really only love here. I've read what most everyone has responded to you because I have a thing about clearing out "new responses" and everyone's been pretty helpful so far.

Alright dude, I wasn't singling you out with that, I was just venting about what forums are like everywhere now. It apparently doesn't matter what I say, I just care for comments like people telling me maybe you should've done this or maybe you should've done that and when I retaliate to said replies, I'm the bad guy. If someone makes a smart ass comment, then I come back with one, I'm the bad guy...

I don't care, I guess I need to watch how I reply to some of yall too or just not at all...

I'm not leaving over anything.... Yall comment sarcastic replies, but when I do, everyone hates me...

Yes, I'll agree there are much worse forums, like every Mustang forum, those are some real jerks, so I just left them all... The Bronco forum has a few jerks on it too. I'm not calling anyone a jerk, I'm just agreeing that this forum is way better than the Mustang ones...

Sorry I've brought up dead threads, I will try not too anymore. I'll just add to my build post and I'll try to ask less questions. Sorry yall have more experience with these than I do... :( I'll just look at builds and build mine.

Now my build thread has all this on it, great.... :/

Thanks for the help everyone!
