However, the thread seems to no longer be maintained and to give back to the community I have decided to recreate the thread and carry that torch for the next while.

How to contribute:
Please post your build information and a link to your build log, if you have one. Please only provide this info once you receive your frame number. You will not be added to this list without your frame number.

Include the following info:
  • City, State
  • Donor info (year, trim)
  • Frame style and changes (Double Door bars, Easy Entry, etc)
  • Frame number
  • Link to your build log if you have one

I currently house the car up in Midland where I built it, but I do now live in Clinton Twp. The hope is once it's road worthy it will make it down here. Just not much room for it and the trailer at this place to be carting it around.

I am constantly travelling back and forth to Clare if you ever need it trailered down.

Got you added, and welcome from KY! I'm currently in Lebanon (central KY), but on the market to buy land and build a house in Richmond/Madison Co in the next 18-24 months, so hopefully one day we can run around together!

You'll be the second registered Goblin in KY; @Gregky146 has an A/T out in Owensboro. I'm currently waiting on my stage 2 kit, but hope to be registered by spring. Nice that you have a title to transfer into KY, otherwise it would have to be a rebuilt (I'm looking for ways around this currently). Not sure if you have insurance on yours already, but pretty sure Greg got his insured locally with his KY Farm Bureau agent.

I likely won't get to take mine out until the spring either. The cold looks like it might be here to stay.

The unknowns around the KY registration process was what had held me back originally from building my own. KY is really relaxed in registration for everything else, and I don't know of any showstoppers, but I didn't feel informed enough to try to register my own. Actually, my only post in the forums, before making the purchase, is from almost 3 years ago in the "Registering for Road Use" discussions, wondering about the KY registration process.

I recently decided to just watch the classifieds for one that I could bring in to KY. And transferring it in was like transferring any out-of-state vehicle. It wasn't bad at all.

My insurance is through my local State Farm agent. They handle all of my other insurance as well.
