Left out that local transmission shop cleaned up engine during build process. New clutch, new plugs, installed lightweight aluminum flywheel. Engine looked like new when I picked it up.

If you get all the paperwork needed to register/title it. It’s not too hard. May need an emission test though. Can’t remember if Austin is in an emission county.

How much power do you think it makes? How hard would it be to register in Texas (I'm in Austin)?
I believe the 2010 cobalt makes 155hp. The catalytic converter has been of course removed. The lightweight flywheel makes it a bit more responsive and quicker revving. I’m told there is a bolt on turbo that adds significant hp. I haven’t tried to register it. Might need to add windshield. Everything works. Lights, turn signals, brake lights, horn.

You don’t have to have a windshield to pass tx inspection. And no windshield means no wipers either. Just an FYI

I would love to see this go for the asking price. I have a similar build and was getting no bites at a lower asking. The secondhand market is still figuring out the place for Goblins.

Just stumbled across this car in Houston. The new owner brought it into a neighbors shop for an alignment. It now has a wang, a full cage has been added along and various other mods. Verified that it is frame 217.

I hope to link up with the current owner in the future and see what else has been done.
