Tesla Conversion Kit

I am beginning to build a Tesla conversion kit to turn a Tesla into an automobile.

The kit consists of a 400W base boost 8 channel amplifier, 12 very high fidelity speakers, a OBD connected MP3 player, a 800 Watt gasoline generator (to run the amplifier and make the Tesla smell like a car). The kit also has a small oil canister with an electronic drip system to occasionally deposit a oil spot on the garage floor. This oil drip system is programmable to British mode where it drips more or less constantly or a Japanese mode where it never drips.

By proper positioning of the speakers and programming you can make the Tesla a front engine car or a mid engine car. With 8 channels of sound you make ALL the car noises emerge from the proper places on the vehicle.

The engine itself is programmable from 4-16 cylinders and redline can be set any where up to 18,000 RPM. This is a necessity for those that have always dreamed of having a Formula 1 powered car. Likewise the cars mufflers are programmable with a cockpit activated exhaust bypass to open up the exhaust at the headers. The MP3 player may also be programmed to make the Tesla turbocharged (popoff valve and turbo whine), supercharged or normally aspirated. For the real high performance you can run nitrous having the kit perform a NOS squirt if you would like to scare of a potential competitor.

Using the OBD input for both throttle pedal position and vehicle speed, you can set shift points for the transmission. This makes the car so fast you and chirp the wheels in any gear at any speed as it uses the ODB to determine if you are getting into it.

Notes:
* The kit does not work on gasoline engine cars as the sounds produced by those automobiles will conflict with those produced by my kit
* The kit will work on a Nissan Leaf although it make the car sound a bit silly
* In keeping with producing the most possible car smell for such a small engine, the generator uses a highly muffled 2 stroke engine.
* The generator was added for both smell and to keep from discharging the battery more quickly
* There is a full 400 watts of "extra" power available in the generator (if you keep the car sounds running). This makes it possible to "plug" the Tesla charger into the generator. This extra power can extend the range of the Tesla allowing the car to drive many extra miles to the next charging station
* Driving the car using the generator requires patience! It is possible to go nearly 1 mile an hour on a perfectly flat road. This is very helpful when you run out of a charge on the Tesla. When you run out of gas in a car, you can walk to a service station and carry a can of gas back to the car. This is not possible with an electric car because carrying a bunch of electrons is very difficult as you can't keep them in a gas can.

Reads much like the Harley Davidson marketing strategy for the last decade.
