Ive been playing around with my steering a lot lately. Got a new wheel with QD etc.
My wheel is small and the cobalt steering is so floaty around the middle. Seriously considering removing the power steering motor and replacing it with a quickener. I don't think I'd go to the full 2:1 ratio. But 1.5:1 sounds awfully appealing. Honestly the steering motor/assist doesn't mean much to me. I can't tell a difference unless completely stopped. And even then the front end is so light that it doesn't bother me in the least.
I know Adam had one on the first prototype...anyone have other experience good/bad? Or perhaps there's a faster rack from some other member of the GM family?
