I'd like to purchase the HP Tuners MPVI2 but wondering if anyone uses a tablet instead of a laptop. I'd like to get a cheap Amazon tablet if possible to keep the costs down. Just wondering what everyone is using.
I don't have my HPT yet but I went with the 2+ just for the fact that ill be able to use my iPhone to monitor things. Also iOS has the HPT Tune Delivery Network on the app store as well. We will see when I get the tuner in the mail.
I was more hoping to be able to use my phone to watch live data while driving, like digital dash. I'm sure I can still read codes as well. It is what it is. I was going to need HPT eventually anyways so worth the cost.
HP tuners is basically the go to, however the TDN is simply a way for a shop to send you a tune to the RTD that you got from them that does not allow you to make any changes to the file only flashing the "canned" files they send you
