Looks like I saved myself $100Just a couple pumps of the lever and I’ll know if I saved myself $100 or if I’m spending $100.
Use OEM gasket and it can be reused multiple times from experience.Doing my timing chain tensioner. Clearly someone has been into this motor before. They used RTV on the valve cover gasket, I was under the impression these type of valve cover gaskets didn’t need RTV. Does anyone have any input on whether I should use RTV when I put it back together?
Invest in AllDatadiy.com for $20 a year while building the Goblin all torque specs and wiring is "easily" searchable. Is there a specific sequence to re-tighten the bolts? Torque spec?
I'm so glad that wasn't a 'hold my beer' moment and everything came apart as planned.Looks like I saved myself $100
Do you happen to still have those part numbers by chance? So I’ve been told these are important parts to replace. Adam gave me part numbers, these are the Napa equivalent. Does everyone think this is OK? Also is there anything I should know about installing this correctly?
I don’t but Adam seemed to have them readily available.Do you happen to still have those part numbers by chance?
That is common. Open up the hole with a grinder until it doesn’t touchAnyone else have an issue with the steering rack? I could barely get the bolts into it and now the U joint rubs.
