If you get a title with Montana, whats to stop one from selling the now titled goblin to ...say someone in another state?

I haven't done the Montana registering thing, but I have owned a few companies over the years. I think this is the way it works:
Your Montana company LLC owns the Goblin, so if the corporation sells the Goblin, then the new owner still has an option to register it in their home state, but they don't get the tags and registration. They would get the title, but that should be signed over to the new owner.

If you sell the Montana company, then they become the owner of all company assets, ie the Goblin, and it probably doesn't need to be re-registered, as the owner of the Goblin (the Montana company) hasn't changed. You probably want to draw up legal papers for the sale of the company.
