V1 Help needed identifying Goblin parts

Hmm. Everything is fully assembled in front. I just fit, didn’t tighten, but looks complete. There are only 2 washers and the two bolts that have me stumped. They look like they belong together. The bolts are large like something important. Lol.

V1 Help needed identifying Goblin parts

I feel like these should be pretty obvious but having trouble locating what these parts are for. I believe they came in one of the bags for front uprights or suspension. This is A/T build. I’m sure someone will know right away and I’ll feel dumb momentarily. Lol! Thank you!

    Can anyone identify this fastener?

Excellent idea! I’ll do that. I’m really thinking it’s from something else and got thrown on my bench. Kids probably. They’ve been helping. Been racking my brain all day trying to remember but I really don’t remember that coming off the cobalt either. Thank you!

    Can anyone identify this fastener?

Doesn’t appear to be from transmission swap. Everything is secure there. I’m really starting to question if it even belongs to this project. There’s a bucket of spare bolts in my garage from the previous home owner. Wondering if my kids got into it. Unless someone has another suggestion I might...

    Can anyone identify this fastener?

Well, I labeled and set aside the trans mount bolts. I took a comparison pic for reference. There’s only one. I’m kinda wondering if I left it off when I swapped transmission. Gonna go over that again I guess. That was several months ago now, my memory is foggy. I’m usually organized so I’m...

    Can anyone identify this fastener?

I set this aside and didn’t label it. I’m usually pretty meticulous with labeling and organizing but overlooked it. Seems like it’s something obvious but I can’t remember. Any help?

    V1 No Start, Was Working

Yep that makes sense. Thank you again Gtstorey! Couldn’t have done it without your help with diagrams, direction on where to look and explanations. I have learned so much through this experience. Despite some frustrations it’s been an absolutely awesome project. I have always done my own...

    V1 No Start, Was Working

Yeah I have to admit that I don’t fully understand it. The testing that I did was effective in isolating the problem though. It’s reproducible so I’m confident of the cause. I don’t know. I did measure all 4 power sources to the ecm with key on. All had 12 except pin 73 on x1 and it’s...

V1 Anywhere to buy a new harness?

I have seen them on eBay. At the time it was $350-400 for main wiring harness. The engine harness around 150 and dash harness 150. Need headlight harness too. Full main harness is going to be a rare find I’m sure. If you are just concerned about dash you might look on eBay I think there are a...

    V1 No Start, Was Working

I went ahead and did this last night. I found an extra cable. I connected that from transmission to frame ground (perfect length too). I moved the ground lug back to its position on the transmission. She’s good now. :)

    V1 No Start, Was Working

I’m trying to understand this. Yes, it was reading 9v on one of the ECM wires as well as a couple other fuse receptacles. Every other fuse measured 12v. Battery post measured 12. Pretty much everywhere measured 12 except two or three fuses and their respective receptacles. My focus was on ECM so...

    V1 No Start, Was Working

Yes, it did until I moved the ground now it reads 12.

    V1 No Start, Was Working

Yes it displays voltage and just signals on ground.

    V1 No Start, Was Working

This is what I was doing using a power probe. It connects directly to positive and negative battery posts. It’s a handy tool but wasn’t really effective at helping find this issue. It was helpful in isolating low voltage but it signaled good ground when in fact it wasn’t fully grounded.

    V1 No Start, Was Working

Update: I can’t believe it!! I think I have it figured out! I was stumped today. No burnt traces on PCB and everything looked and tested fine. Spent hours going over everything. Frustrated, I came inside to take a break and then I started thinking there MUST be a common thread among these low...
