I’m curious what kind of power you were putting down when this happened. What turbo, psi, other mods, etc. You didn’t just throw a bearing, but blew out the sidewalls! Has me worried that I should’ve spent the money for a girdled block

DF welded a cage to @Ross open chassis while he was there doing some troubleshooting. They can definitely do it for you. Email support and see what they say

You can pull the head with the engine in the car. Hardest part will be the timing chain which requires supporting the engine to remove the engine mount and the timing cover.

I believe there are different bracket adapters for kits with the ebrake kit and kits without. Might need to verify with DF. Email [email protected] and they should be able to help you out.

The LSJ fuel pump has a filter attached at the bottom of the pump

The SS/SC pedal has a secondary harness on it before connecting to the main harness and that might be part of the issue. You have the ECM and BCM from a SS/SC? Sounds like you’re trying to incorporate the TCM to the SC motor and the data communication between the different engines I’m sure is...

I’m surprised you’re axles would come loose like that. I pushed mine in with my hands until the retainer clicked in place and that was it. Was a little tough, but expected.

I believe they used the stock SS wheels for the measurement.

Took video of start and idle of my build to send to Al at ZZP, figured I’d share it here as well. Also took video of my Z57 Entry turbo kit plumbing. The instructions were not very detailed with pictures so I did a video of that as well and sent it to Al for verification.

Looks like an F35 but no LSD. The 4.05 final drive would be an F35. But I believe the LSDs said LSD on them. You can pull the axles and look through the opening. If you can see through, then it doesn’t have an LSD. If you can’t look through, then it has an LSD

I struggled with those -16 fittings as well. Sourced some quality ones locally thankfully and was able to get it sealed up after some leaks. Would definitely go rubber hoses next time if I built another

Good, I was thinking with less mass that it was the culprit for the excessive rpm drop.

I did a complete build of the engine. Diamond 9.5:1, molnar rods, new bearings, ATI underdrive, NBS, ported zzp head that came with 82# springs, stage 2 turbo cams, z57 entry turbo kit for the lsj, 80# injectors, BRFPS, HPX MAF, 2 step cooler NGK plugs, dual pass end plate, ZZP aluminum fly...
