    Sneak Peek - Goblin V2

I wouldn't try and carry your ice cream home in that.

V1 purchased an AT can I add evap system?

    Depends on your mechanical ability.

V1 purchased an AT can I add evap system?

All of the gas tank end part of the emissions are typically removed along with all piping/hoses. The evap solenoid on the intake is usually left. I think a few have been built or modified with evap system, but not many.

    V1 SwerveMonkey's Street Goblin #197 - 08 Donor

It's recommended to get your general airflow/fueling correct before worrying about idle. This is without reviewing the log so I'm not saying you airflow/fueling is wrong. But a lot of people worry about idle at first, and that will cleanup with proper airflow tables.

    V1 Steering rack to fast.

Turns to lock may not be the same as ratio of turns to wheel angle. The wheel angle is less on the non-ss I think.

    V1 Steering rack to fast.

Mine is in that same range, maybe slightly less on camber and toe.

    V1 Steering rack to fast.

This is what really needs to be looked at. I have the Vue EPS with adjuster and a front wing, but without proper alignment, they don't mean anything. I can drive it one handed to about 100mph. Of course, the Goblin isn't going to be the same as a production GT car. We had someone complain on...

V1 Spherical upper strut mount group buy

I don’t have one on mine and not a problem that l can identify. Depends a lot on tire set up, maybe chassis length, sway bar or not, brake pad combo, etc. I’m sure on a race track it’s very much useful.

I assume you have tried adjusting the hydraulic settings on the coil overs?

I would start with just swapping the 300/400. I was very much surprised at how well the Goblin rides, although I pick my drives to be good pavement for the most part.

    V1 Travis B's Track goblin #479 - 08 SS

How much of the pulley/dampener rest on the damaged snout? You typically have to use a bolt or the proper tool to install a damper. This usually isn't a tap it on fit. Often there isn't a key and it's an interference fit that takes a lot to get it on. At least yours is keyed. I'm not sure that...

Fancy Electronics - what are the suggestions?

If you aren't willing to use a smart phone, everything else is pretty much obsolete other than maybe something like TrackAddict/HPT on a lap top. The only thing I use is Pandora on my phone and Bluetooth worktunes headphones.

V1 Mikes Extended, Full Frame Goblin - 2009 Cobalt LS with 135k donor

So Ross is probably correct, the key doesn’t have the chip to be learned. And that is assuming you have the ring/module in place to read the key.

Key and lock? Do you mean ignition cylinder? Do you have the transponder ring?

    V1 Starting the journey

At 6ft tall, remember that the adjuster will add a little height to the seat that you might not like, depending on your torso length and seat choice. I had adjusters on mine and removed it to get the seat lower since no one else drives. And I'm 6ft tall also.

V1 Drilling above oil pan for 2.2 Turbo Drain port

You could run a gallon of gas through the hole followed by a few quarts of cheap oil and be fairly safe, but not 100%.

V1 Mikes Extended, Full Frame Goblin - 2009 Cobalt LS with 135k donor

You can't, at least without knowing the secret. I've seen post on HPT that says they or at least running it as a standalone, but never any details on how. But this build has gone through so many changes, is the current setup an E69/LNF ECM?

    Easier yes, cheaper no.

    V1 Riley's Full Cage Goblin -07 SS/TC F23 #457

Can’t check the speed sensor very well with a regular volt meter. It’s a frequency type sensor not voltage.
