I will seal up the threads with Loctite blue. AN10 should have 10/16" ID, and I have enough room on the adapter to redrill to the full 5/8", which I plan on doing. I want the drain to be large and easy flowing. Also, AN10 is a common size for turbo drain kits.

drop the oil pan, drill & tap, then you can wash the inside of the girdle with some brake cleaner. The oil pan is pretty easy in a goblin.

David, it is possible, and recommended. Put a drain plug back in the oil pan, and drill out the girdle.

I drilled out that boss in the girdle. I liked that it was above the oil pan level.

You have a lot going on here. I would check for vacuum leaks. You need to get the OBDII port working, so you can check the current diagnostic trouble codes. Checking the OBDII port for electrical issues.

Crankcase ventilation goes back into the intake, and oil vapors condense, making an oily mess thru the intercooler and intake. Pretty normal. Gets worse if you increase boost, or have old rings on your pistons.

You could remove the chain on the balance shafts and water pump. Then add an electric water pump.
