I'm not familiar with the group buy shifter, but the DF shifter works great! Since all the parts are solidly mounted (engine, trans, shifter) it feels as if the shifter is on top of the gear box. Very adjustable and precise. I'm very happy with mine.

Did the local Cars & Coffee last month . . . and again today. They had the usual mix of interesting cars. A right hand drive Rolls Royce and Ferrari, and the big dog . . . a nice yellow McLaren.

Most of the people were very knowledgeable participants, very few spectators. But they all liked the car and the concept.

This was one of the "Press" cars. Didn't do time on the track but was around for press use.

It warmed up enough this morning to attend the Auto Island Caffeine & Fuel car show in Bluffton, SC (just outside Hilton Head). A good turnout with a variety of cars, and I was proud to represent DF Goblin.

A Royal Enfield! My older brother had one when I was in high school, '72. Took it for a few rides but I had trouble kick starting it. I only weighed 115 lbs. and the thing would kick back! Usually parked it at the top of a hill.

I had the honor again this year of leading the community Pirate Fest. We had a great time showing off the Goblin and leading over 60 crazy golf carts! A good time was had by all!

The wrap was done by a local graphics company Primal Gfx Company, in Bluffton SC. We kicked around some ideas and this is what I settled on. My hood was black but they did a vinyl wrap is a semi-gloss to match my powder coated aluminum panels. They may be able to duplicate it and mail it to...

I'm thinking of getting one of those "tool trays" for the front of mine. It looks like it's really handy. ;)

I had one of these with a 3-on-the-tree. You could get it jammed up between 1st and 2nd (probably loose linkage). Had to reach through the grill, I think, to get it unstuck. Left me stranded once.

It's great to have another Goblin in Margaritaville! Can't wait to get them together, as soon as it warms up!
