    "Usable" Daily Driver HP

I'm at 287 rear wheel with the TVS and the 200TW tires are tapped out. I'd have to go to a dot legal slick to push the car any harder.

    V1 Engine and cooling plumbing

You'll find that the space between the intercooling manifold (dual pass or not) and the fuel cell...is very tight. I started out with 90 degree turns on tubing and this led to cavitation/aeration of the coolant. I've transitioned to more of a pig tail coolant line set up to reduce the aeration...

V1 [Poll] Your Goblin Build Progress

Hitting my 4th show of the season tomorrow. So many are asking about the platform. Get those cars built and on the road!!!

    Best/Cheapest Insurance options?

Immediate relative or family member is enough for USAA membership.

    V1 Audio Options

I'm running the NOAM NUTV5 for the second season and really enjoying it. I placed the sub behind the passenger seat and head unit near the ignition. The older head unit is round and fits perfectly in a 3 inch intake tube so I used that to suspend it from the frame.

V1 Mikes Extended, Full Frame Goblin - 2009 Cobalt LS with 135k donor

I spent several hours and multiple trips around the hood trying to get the gas pedal to have the right feel and response (SC car). I have a double spring set up that I think is giving me a more progressive feel to the pedal. Still a bit touchy on bumps. I've found dialing in your suspension, for...

    WTB: Siemens 60# injectors

The seating depth is very specific to the ecotec with the fuel rail bolting to the head and injectors tucking into the isolators. QFS has them in stock now. 2 x 2 sets of two required. Also make sure you're wiring harness is set up for both injector and car side (EV6 injector and EV6 harness)...

    Car Show Season

I kicked off the season here at Idaho's largest auto show, the 2025 Boise Roadster Show, and happily took second place in class to the Kendig-It Design "TwelveAir". I always have some great conversations with people about the car, the build process, and hopefully inspire someone to tackle a...

    Steering shaft issue

Yes, many of us have had to cut much of the firewall at the steering shaft to clear it. Trim and check to minimize material removed. One of many DF parts you will encounter that don't fit "right" and require unexpected modification. If you're preparing your car for a show go easy on the cuts...

    Should I get one?

You can definitely buy a Goblin more cheaply than building one these days...but you'll never be able to look at someone and say...I built this. "Anyone can buy a car, with the means to do so, but few build one."

    Where is my order?

Others have suggested picking up furniture dollies. Harbor Freight has the inexpensive 1,000 lb units and having four of them to move the Goblin and or Cobalt around is very useful. You're delivery guy will thank you if you have these on hand when it arrives...

V1 Ross's extended city, easy entry Goblin- 06 SS/SC, NW Arkansas

Smoke that brisket fat side up. As the fat breaks down it has a self basting effect. Some say it's not needed but every time I've done one they've turned out great!

    Sneak Peek - Goblin V2

Verbiage from their release in this thread is below. It looks like they intend to offer some basic colors, color of choice (at additional cost) or bare frame. "All Goblin V2 platforms will be factory-assembled with standard powder coat colors (TBD). or with the customer's color choice...

    Thoughts on changing exhaust?

Forever Fabrication makes two different types of exhaust that will bolt right up to the Goblin. They look great, are expensive...and fairly loud. I ran the V1 for awhile and it hurt my ears at WOT...couldn't even hear the supercharger with the intake about 1 foot away. At the price they are...

    Thoughts on changing exhaust?

I considered that same setup but a lot of those single in, dual out, mufflers will not fit inside the frame of the goblin. Measure out your exhaust "box" and see what might fit without having exhaust hanging out too bar behind your headers/the car.

    Thoughts on changing exhaust?

You want the system to breath but...it doesn't take much for the ecotecs. The supercharged cars are known for being very loud so keep that in mind if you're running an SC car. It would be pretty difficult to cork up the system with this mid engine setup and short exhaust run.

    Sneak Peek - Goblin V2

This is the question I had for those putting down a deposit...just going to Vegas??? I'm assuming DF is giving them the option for deposit return if they change their minds?

    Front splitter installation and reviews

It would definitely cut down in efficiency. I don't have two cars of the same set up to provide any accurate data. ZZP, over the course of a lot of remote tuning, was impressed by my lower IATs in my supercharged car with a dual pass plate and NACA ducts (no fan) installed. A lot of WOT pulls...
