Finally, it is done! After going back and forth with MPI for the last two years, I have finally managed to find a way to get this bad boy street legal!!! To my knowledge, this is the first Goblin in the province of Manitoba to get fully legalized and they did not make it easy on me haha. Our...

Yes that is helpful. I like the way the 1.25" looks in that picture

The majority of our cars frames are 1.5" though if I'm not mistaken?

Haha if ever hit a moose in this car, Im not expecting to survive no matter what my bumper looks like! :) That model is with 1.5" tubing, Im on the fence about seeing if I can find some 1.25" or possibly 1". Personally I think 1" might look a little silly. I like the hoop design because it...

With a full 2.5 weeks off for Christmas break, it was either work on the car or go crazy so naturally I've been tinkering. Front Bumper While I was on the front of the car I began dreaming up ideas for a front bumper which unfortunately ill need for safety inspection. I browsed the forum to see...

Yeah, that is what I had planned to do initially which is why I purchased them in the first place but the tires that I bought have a significantly different radius then those fenders were designed for since the sidewall is so large. Even if I were to extend the fenders, the curvature of the...

Its been a little while since I've posted any updates here on the forum since I went back to school in September This last week I had reading which naturally I used to spend working on the Goblin! My objectives for the week were to finish up my flooring and make some custom fender for my rear...

I've done that already as my temporary fix but if.you look closely you can see the tape. Nobody else will notice it likely, but it bugs me. And yes those lights were a point the safety failed on

There is a guy at MPI who has the final say on what passes for kit cars, but unfortunately he is on strike. The current plan was to wait for him to get back to work so he can possibly give me an exemption on a few of these things. It would be really nice not to have to add bumpers as that seems...

Ah shoot, is there anyway to electronically remove those lights? If not, I'll just have to go in and cut them out I guess

Floor not secure! I had a good chuckle when I read the mechanics note on this one. Apparently the floor is a little to thin for MB standards. So, I had some 3/4" plywood lying around at home that I cut up to fit in the gaps between the 1" square braces on the floor. I will be supporting said...

So a little update on the safety inspection that I had brought the car in for last week For all future Manitoba builders! When I took the car in last week for a safety inspection it failed on quite a few things. Some are easy fixes, some will take a fair bit of work and a couple are just...

Ok sounds good, I assume you can just use a fuel line remover tool for that

    V1 Scotts 2009 SS/TC #478

So you reused the braided metal line with the fuel line type connection where it connects in the engine by the turbo then just extended it with the 3/8" hose to the intake?

    V1 Scotts 2009 SS/TC #478

Ok that makes sense then. The brake booster vacuum hose I have connected already. How did you connect the intake hose barb to the crankcase intake? Did you manage to re-use the stock lines or did you have to purchase new connecters, line & check valve?

    V1 Scotts 2009 SS/TC #478

I w I was planning on hooking the intake hose barb to the outlet in your picture. Is that the PCV connection?

Ok, just dropped the car off this afternoon at a shop for a safety inspection (fingers crossed they are forgiving) and an alignment. Now they are asking me what number I want for the alignment with camber and caster. What would be a good recommended setup for primarily street usage?
