I’m using some recaro seats I pulled from a Saturn redline. I use these because it is nice to have the sliders when the wife drives.

If there’s a gap before tightening the control arm bolts then that’s normal and it will move when you tighten the bolts.

I think the wife and I are going to attempt our first wrap job on her Goblin. This could be interesting and appreciate any tips y’all may have .

Looks like you’ll need an intermediate steering shaft. You can get them from Rockauto for a decent price.

I added a piece of metal to the throttle pedal to move it out about an inch. I drilled holes and reused the factory pedal pins and bolted the extension with nyloc nuts 1/4” bolts.

Could be leaking from the cam cap or the valve cover gasket. Did it get a little dab of silicone in those corners where the cap meets the cylinder head when the valve cover was installed? Sometimes the caps can leak if anaerobic sealer wasn’t used.

I loosened the upper radiator hose to purge the air from the radiator on the initial start up and haven’t had any air issues. Some folks use the air evac but it doesn’t always fill the entire radiator which would need purged.

A couple other things you noted. What shifter are you using to have trouble finding 5th? And the bouncy road syndrome, I place my foot differently for bouncy roads, I try to keep my foot straighter vertical so the bouncy roads don’t effect throttle much. We haven’t run into overheating issues yet but I don’t ever recall running soap in the cooling system except for cleaning out residual oil contaminants. Is there a reason like contamination for the added soap? Flush it multiple times with fresh water. If it still overheats you may want to check...
