Ok so I’m terrible at making updates. We picked up my frame on 5/2 and put it in its new Den.
Today it took it to the Texas Extreme to be powder Coated. Should bring it home again next Friday
Can’t wait to see the color I picked actually on it.
Next Saturday I will pick up my frame.
Going to work out to be a cool weekend. I’ll stop by my Dads house on Friday and spend weekend with him. I’ll take any opportunity to get to see him.
I got the final invoice for my frame this week. Waiting to hear back on setting a time to pick it all up. I’m so excited I can’t stop checking my email waiting to hear.
Still have a bit of work to finish up in my shop but this has given me a little more motivation to get done
Thanks
I’ve some ideas now. I know I am jumping the gun a bit thinking about seats while my engine is in Michigan and I don’t have my frame yet. My entertainment of late is solely watching goblin videos and scrolling the forum. So I’ve got all sorts of crazy ideas. That’s the point though, each...
So I was watching a video last night, I think it was Off the Ranch, he said that the seats in the goblin weren’t adjustable. I’ve done a little searching but haven’t found anything. I’m 6-0 and the wife is 5-2. Adjustable seats would be nice so she can drive it too.
Been working on cleaning and organizing my shop. Trying to finish off a few other projects before my frame shows up. Also stacking up parts that I brought for this project. West Texas heat can be brutal so I’m working on insulating and adding an A/C unit.
He told me if I wanted it in April to get my deposit in March. They will still be available a bit longer.
So last night I paid my deposit. I’m so excited this is finally going to happen.
Well I’ve been working my way to the goal of building a goblin even though I haven’t posted. I have finished my wiring and fingers crossed it will work. I also spent time cleaning and going through my parts and placing orders for extra or missing items. I sent my engine off to be honed, bored...
Well I decided to message Adam today. We will see what he says. I guess I will wait to ask the list of questions I have. No point wondering what this twisted pair is for if I have to change to the V2. I would not mind but wifey said I have too much time in tearing down the cobalt and too many...
Well as they say “Life happens “ or maybe they say it differently. Daughter moved to west Texas and covered her and her husband’s needs for a while and gave up on what I wanted. Well a divorce later she’s still draining my accounts but I had to draw a line somewhere. So nearly two years later...
I have an automatic so any tips for that? Brake plug didn’t have brown and tan twisted wire to ECM plug but had green and yellow, hope it’s just a difference in model. I also had some damaged wires I’ll have to repair so went a bit slow today.
Well holidays are passed and work is starting to settle out after our little cold spell here 2 weeks ago. It’s time to get back to playing with my toys. Engine is torn down and waiting on the machine shop. Going to be several weeks ( oil field work pays better so it’s hard to get small jobs...
