    V1 DIY Front End Alignment

Ride height is adjusted by rotating the lower spring perch on the coil over. The rod ends on the control arms is used to adjust your camber and caster, but not the ride height. Park your goblin on level ground, put weights or humans in the seats, then put a 6" level on the lower control arm...

    V1 DIY Front End Alignment

    - No. Is there something specific you are trying to fix by switching the springs? I tried several setups, and 300 on rear feels right. I did switch to progressive springs on the front, just to soften the first inch or so of travel. - Is your steering wheel close to centered? If so, I would...

Adam's pictures has his parking brake. Are those extra wires for the headlight low beams, high beams, turn signals? Maybe the radiator fan?

    Bosch Intercooler Pump wiring

Do you have a turbo LNF, or a supercharged LSJ engine? (my signature line has a link for you to modify your signature line, mention your donor car) I'm going to guess a LNF, as the LSJ has the stock wiring for an intercooler pump. I would look for a pink wire to feed the intercooler pump, but...

    V1 Connors street Goblin #400 sc 07

My 2006 LSJ coolant temperature sensor is right beside the coolant exit from the head. Mine was programmed to turn on at 223F, but I changed it in HP Tuners. In a Cobalt, the 2 fans can turn on slowly (6 volts each, in serial mode) before 223F, but in a Goblin, we only use one fan, which turn on...

    V1 Joe's 2009 F40 SS/TC #470

Epoxy creep is when it slowly stretches when under a constant load. Usually takes days or months to creep. If the carbon fibers are taking the constant load, then it is easy for epoxy to hold the insert from a dynamic load, like a bolt rotating inside the insert.

    V1 Joe's 2009 F40 SS/TC #470

Well if you epoxy in a rivnut, it should work. Lots of epoxies have "creep", and won't hold a static load for long... you want the epoxy that doesn't creep, like they use in anchor bolts.

Did you put the shorter, DF supplied, tie rod ends on the front of the goblin and put the longer Cobalt tie rod ends on the rear of the goblin?

I would check the suspension and steering for any wear or movement. If the wheels are solid, find someone who will take the time to give it a good laser alignment. Occasionally I have drove a goblin with good stability and driving habits, but I would say a lot of them have "character" at...

    V1 No start issue

I put a small air breather on that exit from the head. It is part of the PCV system, I think it originally went to the intake plenum... somewhere near the throttle body? Just check you don't have any open holes on your intake. You don't want unfiltered air getting in, especially after the...

    V1 No start issue

Great work! Now to work on those emission system issues. You might have some vacuum leaks. That red electrical connector is part of the evap system, and normally eliminated on a goblin. Actually, lots of evap OBDii codes are normal on a gobin.

    V1 No start issue

This problem seems more pressing than all those evap issues: - P0335 Crankshaft position sensor A circuit meaning the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is not receiving a proper signal from the sensor. This is a critical issue because the crankshaft position sensor (CKP) is essential for timing...

    V1 No start issue

Well that is a good start. Has fuel, compression and spark. Now is everything timed correctly? Maybe start by getting the OBDii port working, so we can check the engine codes, and see if the ECU knows what the issue is.

    V1 No start issue

Can you smell gasoline at the tail pipe, when it is cranking? If yes, it has fuel and spark, time to check the compression. The OBDii port not working does sound like a data issue. Checking the OBDII port for electrical issues.

V1 Ross's extended city, easy entry Goblin- 06 SS/SC, NW Arkansas

Making custom tools... weld a couple of chain links to a flat plate, and plasma cut a hole in the side of a pipe. I cut the pipe too short (Oops!), so I found a 3/8" socket to extend it to the correct length. Then using a couple of M6 bolts, the plate was mounted across the camshaft...

    V1 Trailer Harness Wiring

What is up with your Goblin wiring??? Do your rear tail lights work? If they do, you need to correct the wires listed above. The right tail light should have: - Tail lights (usually the brown wire, which when 12V+ is applied, turns the tail light on dim red) - Turn/Stop (usually the yellow...

LSJ no supercharger or turbo HP number.

An ecotec 2.2L NA is 140 hp to 155 hp, so I would guess a 2.0L NA would be 10% less than that. Say 130hp, down from the LSJ 205hp, which is 75 hp loss.
