I'm not familiar with the group buy shifter, but the DF shifter works great! Since all the parts are solidly mounted (engine, trans, shifter) it feels as if the shifter is on top of the gear box. Very adjustable and precise. I'm very happy with mine.

It warmed up enough this morning to attend the Auto Island Caffeine & Fuel car show in Bluffton, SC (just outside Hilton Head). A good turnout with a variety of cars, and I was proud to represent DF Goblin.
A Royal Enfield! My older brother had one when I was in high school, '72. Took it for a few rides but I had trouble kick starting it. I only weighed 115 lbs. and the thing would kick back! Usually parked it at the top of a hill.
I had the honor again this year of leading the community Pirate Fest. We had a great time showing off the Goblin and leading over 60 crazy golf carts! A good time was had by all!

I had one of these with a 3-on-the-tree. You could get it jammed up between 1st and 2nd (probably loose linkage). Had to reach through the grill, I think, to get it unstuck. Left me stranded once.
