I seem to have a problem. The document that came with the kit contents says that I should have 2 BN/WH 10 foot extension for the body to dash. 1 for B9 and 1for C8. The kit only had one wire that was BN/WH, I can see if I have extra for that. The list shows a GN wire for C7. The wire stickers do not list a C7. Is there supposed to be. The only wire I have left is a BN/WH for B9. Help??

Ok, so it looks like on the body to dash harness. C7 is ECM/PCM/VCM Class 2 Serial Data (LSJ) and goes to the PCM C1 pin 16. I have a feeling this is important.

The dark green wires (Class 2 serial data) is the GM Low speed LAN wires. It is one wire communication, so they all (PCM, BCM, instrument panel) get soldered together.

The Brown/BrownWhite wire pair are part of the GM High speed LAN. This is two wire communication, and bounce thru each computer (PCM, BCM, Power Steering). The Tan/TanWhite pair are also part of the high speed LAN.

Was able to pull back all the previously applied tape and found the dark green wire, verified with multimeter. I have already extended the GMLAN wires, this green wire just wasn’t called out in the stickers that came with the kit. I guess I should have verified the word document that came with it. Anyway crisis averted. Now to solder in the green extension wire and I will be ready to move forward, well minus the one brown/white wire I don’t have.

On some supercharged donors there is a green wire that goes from the ECM to the OBDII. it must be there to read your OBDII. It is not on all donors.

It’s all good. Just kinda had my head in a knot that I had a wire to extend and it was on the word doc but not the stickers. I’ll have to check ALLDATA and see what I find or once I am to that point on the dash harness. I am just now getting ready to add the dash harness to the main harness.

Yep your right Lonny, wealth of knowledge.

I have my wire harness in the mail coming to me. I was literally looking through to see if anyone has questions about them. I’m wondering how much different is the SS/SC wire harnesses than the video Part 18
