V1 Turbo Tube

How do I disconnect this tube so I can get my turbo off to clean engine.

One person was successful, that I know of, disconnecting it with careful zip-tie placement. A few other people destroyed it and replaced it through Amazon. I just disconnected the other end from the turbo instead; it's pretty tough to get back on that way.

If you force it off of the nipple, you will bend the four small tangs in side (that the proper fuel disconnect tool normally disengages to remove it). Those little tang retainers are replaceable.

Thanks, good to know that retaining the tilt column is an option anyway. I still have time to try and figure this out, but wanted to get an idea before separating the entire steering column assembly. I cut up some 2" angle iron to fit the tilt column in my Goblin. Here is a video on it.
