V1 Windshield modification

I’m not sure if I ever posted a picture of my driver’s side only windshield. Since I only have the one seat, I mainly did this to allow more air to my rear mounted heat exchanger. And judging by the bugs that get caught in it, it does that. It also makes the cockpit get more air. But it was still extremely hot today. I originally designed it to be able to trim the bottom to allow even more air in, and this evening I opened it up. I also trimmed the top to look over it instead of through it. Of course it’s cooler this evening, but definitely more air in the cockpit.
I run a full windshield during cooler weather.

Very cool I like it. If my kid had not interest in this car and it was just me I’d be tempted to do this plus a cover over the passenger side and use that for storage etc.

It's not something I was real fond of.
Like a motorcycle, so you'll need a helmet.

I have been running mine for 4 years without a windshield. I use a helmet, but I have been riding motorcycles for 30 years now, so it’s normal for me. I have a Cardo headset in my helmet, so I can listen to music, run gps and answer phone calls as I drive. All hands free, using voice commands
