Coolant expansion tank

Anyone run an aftermarket coolant expansion tank? I’m going to run two tanks. One for the coolant and the other for the heat exchanger. I think two stock ones will just look tacky.

You mean something like these? One is radiator system coolant, the other is intercooler system coolant. Both are the 1.5+ liter aluminum tanks.

Classy
Are those caps rated for a higher pressure than the radiator cap and heat exchanger? I would hate for 200+ degree water and coolant to spray everywhere mounted right behind my head

Both systems use expansion tanks which have the pressure caps built in. There is no caps on the radiator or heat exchanger like an old school overflow system.

Amazon. They were about $30 each about a year ago, not sure how much now, but they look much better than the plastic tank. A mount will need to be fabricated.
I’m a metal fabricator at heart so fabbing up brackets will be a piece of cake. I even ordered my kit without exhaust so I can make a stainless setup for it.

One tankless a 1.1 bar (16lb) cap - radiator - and the other has a 0.9 bar (12lb) cap - intercooler. The 'small' radiator cap on these tanks are common size and can be purchased in different pressure ratings. I would trust an aluminum tank over a plastic one. ;)
