Lol I was thinking if Cosmoline could be used as a lube to slide radiator hose through frame and when left behind would keep inside of frame from rusting.but I don’t think Cosmoline is ok on the surface of rubber hose.

3m has a product cavity wax self healing made for spraying inside of frames on unprotected metal. It’s ok on rubber hoses and would help slide hose through frame. Many years ago when I worked for Mercedes there was a recall to spray wax inside frame rails for corrosion protection.
