I need the dimension (standard frame) for the floor pan area. Widest point across the back & the front to rear measurement(s). Still waiting on my frame and I am probably going to order some diamond-plate & want to make sure I get enough. I will add some for the fudge factor. Thanks

Thanks. Picked up some 14ga Steel Diamond Plate. A couple of small pieces won't add much weight.

I bet its going to look awesome. We just carpeted ours in the area but I still feel like its a little thin when getting in and out. It is a good place to add weight if your going to add any weight to the car, lower than center of gravity.

I put diamond plate on my floor, I had it sitting in the garage from another project. This stuff is thinner though, like 20 or 22 gauge. It's all one piece and I sandwiched it between the floor and the frame.

That sounds like it was a good plan. Looks great. I want to get mine in before I send the frame to Powder Coat. I will either tack weld or just run a light full bead. Not sure until I get the frame and cut it and do a test fit. Yes, 14ga (.0747) is roughly twice as thick as 20ga (.0359). Heard today my frame might be here this weekend. Yeah !!!

Classy
I am planning on steel under my feet and aluminum under my butt. My train of thought is that I will be able to stand on the floor where my feet go and the floor should protect my feet, and aluminum under my butt because it will save weight and I will also have the seat to protect me
