Fuel injectors foam cover

Does everyone use this on there engine, If so has anybody bought new ones if so can you tell me where to purchase these as you can see mine are so ugly.

As I understand it, they are just sound dampening to muffle the ticking sound from the turbo engine. Not necessary at all. If that's wrong, someone please correct me.

That’s what I thought, I’ll just leave them off, Get a louder exhaust.

Yeah, I'm going to take mine off the new crate engine. The opel injectors came with that foam too. I highly doubt I'm going to hear the fuel injectors over the sound of the engine with a dump pipe off the turbo

Did you buy fuel injectors? I got the upgraded opel version for the LNF so I can run E85

No I just cleaned and resealed them

Are you going to put the fuel pump cover on the engine, I like the stainless steel showing, I think that the cover was used a lot to hold the foam cover in place

That’s going to be a nice set up, Checked them out on ZZP site, You doing many more up grades

Sense the turbo will be out in the open a lot more do we need to put the heat shields back on turbo
