Goblin Towing, not Towing Goblin

Could I end up with some scary moments towing this 4X6 trailer with my Goblin? I would like to use it for some simple tent gear when I drive up to Daytona or Tail Of The Dragon?

I would ditch the tailgate and make sure you have somewhere around 50-75 lbs tongue weight. It would probably be fine unless you had to make some severe evasive maneuver and then the weight of the trailer compared to the weight of the Goblin might cause problems (purely speculation). I think someone has towed a Goblin with a Goblin but that was likely very short distance.

Definitely test it before you hit the road for a long trip.

How well behaved is your Goblin right now? Personally, I find Goblins with 200+ tread wear tires to be a bit scary. Without a good wheel alignment, they can be scarier yet. But good tires, and alignment, it can tow a light trailer.

That tailgate is a big parachute. Try it and see how it goes. I have pulled a jet ski, my 14' trailer, and a bike rack. My Goblin runs 100TW tires, and as long as the trailer is light, I think it will be fine. If it was me, I would try to remove the tailgate, and strap down your cargo, and keep it under 500 pounds.

Instead of towing a trailer I converted a trailer to tow the Goblin. I cut up the rear ramp and made two stronger ramps. I needed to widen the trailer 2" on each side so I added 2'x4" square tube to each side, moved the fenders out 2" and added 1-1/2" wheel spacers.
