This will be our shops first turbo Goblin.

We are using it to help us design a kit for our customers who also have turbo builds.

We are about half way through the first and second stages so I will try to add lots of pictures to show what we have done.

This is the shops turbo Goblin. We received the new control arms yesterday so it should be a roller very soon.

We are going to press out the OEM rubber bushings and replace them with spherical steel bushings. This will make the control arms more rigid.

I soldered the fuel pump pig tail to the fuel pump wires and plugged it in.
I also found that the original fuel line on the turbo SS cars can be used in is original configuration.

Front suspension finished. I still need to hook up my brake lines and get some lug nuts.

The plug that goes to the throttle pedal was different on our SS, it has a short extention that is female on both ends. I think the manufacture that made the harness possibly made a mistake and put the wrong end on these harnesses and rather than scrap them they made an adaptor.

The SS gauges have a white ring on the back face and registers up to 160 mph.

This is our fourth design for holding the OEM turn signal switch. This design holds the switch more precisely and also is easier to manufacture.

Adam is going to shoot me when he sees all of these images of dusty parts I'm uploading. Lol

The turbo intake aims straight down so we plan to use a series of boots and aluminum tubes to redirect it up and over the engine.

The fuse box is mounted and it looks like there is plenty of room for the shifter linkage to hook up.

As northvibe said, the SS Cobalt have no problem hitting close to 160mph...We know :D

I'm hoping these kit cars handle as well on a road course track, auto-x and on the fun back roads... as our SS's do and did.
