LSJ GM stage 1 Sensors

At what boost level are the Stage 1 sensors needed for an LSJ or are they needed at all?

I would think that if ZZP does not offer stage 1 sensors for the LSJ then they are not needed with the stock supercharger

Did GM offer stage one with the stock SC, albeit with a different pulley?

What is the part # of the sensors you have now and do they fit whatever manifold you are going to use? I haven’t paid any attention to what is involved with the LSJ turbo swap.

I'll have to check part number after work. As for fitment on to the new manifold you have to weld a piece of aluminum on the bottom of the Saab intake to make a place for the MAP sensor. Like so.

Looks like I should have done a better job reading the info on the turbo kit. It doesn't say anything about changing the MAP sensor just that you keep the factory one.

I think the LSJ ECM is hard coded so that it won’t read above 2.55 bar anyway.

So that is the stock lsj sensor. 2.5 bar.
If my memory is correct, the hard coding limit is the same and no benefit to going higher. That is 23psi of boost.
